10 Most Common IELTS Writing Task 2 Topics

What are the most typical IELTS writing topics for task 2 is a question that my students ask me repeatedly. They are concerned that they won't understand the subject and won't have any pertinent thoughts. Due to the fact that the majority of the questions concern 'first world' concerns and difficulties, this is particularly true for students from 'developing' nations. Let's make that drawback work in our favour.

To respond to the inquiry I've been asking of my students for the past five years, please send me the subjects covered on your exams.

Thank you so much to the students who were thoughtful enough to write me their inquiries. I have accumulated a tonne of questions, so I believe it is time to analyse them.

Are the same Writing Task 2 topics repeated?

Both yes and no, is the answer. In writing job 2, a large variety of themes are covered. I believe there are roughly 50 different themes (based on data I've gathered over the last few years), but I'm more interested in the ones that keep coming up. If you'd like all 50, please let me know. Please familiarise yourself with more than 50 topics if you have the time, but I believe most people should prioritise the most popular topics because they need to be wise with their time.

I make an effort to motivate my students to understand material quickly. However, I disagree with the adage "Work smart, not hard" because it implies that you may put in very little effort while still accomplishing your objectives. I always try to work hard and wisely.
